Lead Automation Tester in JS

We are seeking a Lead Automation Tester to join our team and take charge of designing and implementing advanced testing strategies.

In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by managing automated testing frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams. If you are skilled in problem-solving, leadership, and process optimization, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Create and manage comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough validation of application functionalities
Develop testing strategies that align with release schedules to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to establish testing requirements and resolve any issues that arise during the process
Oversee the execution of automated testing frameworks to validate software quality across multiple platforms
Analyze testing results, document findings, and communicate quality metrics to the team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Tester in a professional environment
At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management role
Proficiency in programming tools and languages such as Cypress, JavaScript, Selenium, and Cucumber
Experience with test management platforms, including the creation and execution of test cases in Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Insomnia for API testing and validation
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers and stakeholders, write detailed bug reports, and explain technical challenges
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in testing data science applications to provide domain-specific expertise
Proficiency in integrating automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to improve development workflows
Knowledge of programming languages such as GO Core and Node.js to expand automation capabilities
