- Own the technical architecture and decisions for the mobile domain, balancing short-term impact with long-term vision.
- Guide your team in technical discussions, code reviews, and design decisions, always with an eye toward quality and collaboration.
- Lead the team in implementing robust testing strategies, end-to-end performance monitoring, and mobile-specific CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Leads to shape the mobile roadmap and execute against it.
- Cultivate an inclusive, feedback-driven team culture that values psychological safety, continuous improvement, and shared success.
- Help manage technical debt and guide the team in balancing feature delivery with engineering excellence.
Your profile
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, including responsibilities such as running 1:1s, coaching, mentoring, and supporting career development.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps.
- Strong grasp of state management, performance tuning, and mobile-specific architectural patterns.
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform-specific considerations, including UI/UX consistency and native integration.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., React Native Testing Library, Maestro) and CI/CD tools like Fastlane and Azure DevOps.
- Clear communicator in English, capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions effectively.
- Interest in financial markets or fintech is highly appreciated.
It's a plus if you have
- Experience in applying strategic coaching and mentoring techniques.
- A proven track record of managing performance of your team members.
- Knowledge of profiling and debugging tools such as React Dev Tools, Flipper, or similar.
- Understanding of mobile security best practices and privacy regulations.
- Experience with end-to-end testing in mobile applications.
- Experience leading or working in distributed/remote-first teams.
Technical and leadership challenges you'll work on
- Building a high-performing, happy team with a strong sense of ownership and purpose.
- Delivering features that balance technical complexity with product simplicity.
- Ensuring consistent functionality and user experience across platforms.
- Driving continuous improvement in mobile architecture, performance, and reliability.
