At wikifolio.com, we're looking for a Team Lead - Mobile App Development to guide, mentor, and empower our mobile engineers while remaining hands-on in delivering great user experiences through our flagship mobile apps. Our mobile platform – built with React Native – is central to how customers experience our product. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the mobile experience, the team’s ways of working, and its long-term success.


Your responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of mobile engineers – fostering individual growth, providing constructive feedback, and supporting career development.
  • Set direction and priorities for the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and a focus on delivering customer value.
  • Actively contribute to development, delivering clean, scalable, and maintainable code in React Native across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Own the technical architecture and decisions for the mobile domain, balancing short-term impact with long-term vision.
  • Guide your team in technical discussions, code reviews, and design decisions, always with an eye toward quality and collaboration.
  • Lead the team in implementing robust testing strategies, end-to-end performance monitoring, and mobile-specific CI/CD pipelines.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Leads to shape the mobile roadmap and execute against it.
  • Cultivate an inclusive, feedback-driven team culture that values psychological safety, continuous improvement, and shared success.
  • Help manage technical debt and guide the team in balancing feature delivery with engineering excellence.


Your profile

  • 2+ years of direct people management experience, including responsibilities such as running 1:1s, coaching, mentoring, and supporting career development.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
  • Expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps.
  • Strong grasp of state management, performance tuning, and mobile-specific architectural patterns.
  • Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform-specific considerations, including UI/UX consistency and native integration.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., React Native Testing Library, Maestro) and CI/CD tools like Fastlane and Azure DevOps.
  • Clear communicator in English, capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions effectively.
  • Interest in financial markets or fintech is highly appreciated.


It's a plus if you have

  • Experience in applying strategic coaching and mentoring techniques.
  • A proven track record of managing performance of your team members.
  • Knowledge of profiling and debugging tools such as React Dev Tools, Flipper, or similar.
  • Understanding of mobile security best practices and privacy regulations.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing in mobile applications.
  • Experience leading or working in distributed/remote-first teams.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is €5,296 gross, in accordance with the IT-collective agreement, however the salary we offer will be adjusted in line with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
