For one of our clients at the European Commission, we are currently looking for a Graphic Designer with Instructional Design Expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

• Develop clear, engaging layouts and materials for internal communication (e.g., newsletters, brochures, posters, videos, animations, SharePoint pages).
• Ensure designs align with branding guidelines and communicate messages effectively.
• Manage projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with production teams and keeping quality standards high.
• Stay updated on design and web trends to bring creative ideas.

Instructional Design Support

• Support the design of e-learning content by creating storyboards and multimedia learning materials (text, graphics, video, quizzes).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to simplify and visually enhance complex topics.
• Apply design principles to improve engagement and knowledge retention.

Web Content & SharePoint Support

• Maintain and update intranet pages (banners, visuals, infographics, content).
• Assist in improving layout and usability of internal SharePoint pages.
• Support knowledge management through content organisation and updates.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with internal teams to deliver effective communication and learning materials.
• Present concepts clearly, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance with internal standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Assess the impact of communication and training materials and suggest improvements.
• Keep up with new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Proven experience in graphic and web design, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with e-learning tools like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate is a plus.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and digital content platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented and service-focused.
