Hobson Prior is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join our team focused on developing advanced medical devices. In this role, you will ensure the quality and safety of software used in these devices. You will collaborate with various teams to create and automate tests, helping us meet growing demand and overcome scaling challenges. Our client values an agile approach to development, emphasizing efficiency and modern practices.

Responsibilities:
- Create and carry out detailed test plans and scripts for software systems.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to check functionality and system performance.
- Set up testing environments and work with different teams to verify software thoroughly.
- Record and track software issues using tools like JIRA.
- Help develop automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Participate in reviews and contribute to quality assurance planning.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or C/C++.
- Understanding of software testing methods and tools.
- Experience with debugging and version control systems.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical device industry standards is a plus.
