ERP Project Manager (Full-Time)
Daily rate contract role
Location: Galway (Hybrid – 3 days on-site per week)

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented ERP Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation of ERP solutions across their organisation. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered at least three full-cycle ERP projects within regulated sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Medical Devices.
This role requires a strong leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of implementing best-practice business processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle ERP implementations (e.g. SAP, Oracle, IFS), from project initiation to post-go-live support
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry regulations (e.g. GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO standards)
- Oversee validation processes, including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, risk assessments, and audit preparedness
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and lead project governance meetings and steering committees
- Drive change management initiatives to support successful ERP adoption across the organisation
- Promote process optimisation, standardisation, and scalability through documented best practices
- Continuously assess and improve project methodologies to enhance delivery outcomes
Education & Experience:
- A third-level degree is required
- Minimum of 3 full-cycle ERP implementations delivered in a regulated environment
- Background in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Operations is highly desirable; related certifications are a strong advantage
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is essential
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO standards
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

- Proven success in applying project management best practices to ERP initiatives
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, non-technical terms
- Deep understanding of business processes and manufacturing operations
- Experience working within regulated environments (Pharma / Life Sciences / Medical Devices)
- Knowledge of computer systems validation
- Ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams
- Capable of leading meetings, facilitating discussions, and aligning diverse stakeholders
- Adept at simplifying complexity to deliver practical, efficient solutions
