About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join their Trust & Safety team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems with data, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and partners cross-functionally to build scalable solutions that contribute to a safer online environment.

As a Data Analyst, you’ll lead strategic initiatives, deliver impactful analyses, support abuse mitigation efforts, and influence decision-making through technical expertise and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

• Deliver actionable analyses with insights and recommendations to guide key decisions.
• Translate business questions into tractable models, metrics, or analytical frameworks.
• Address ad hoc business and research queries while proactively uncovering trends and opportunities.

Strategic Project Leadership

• Plan and lead multi-quarter analytical projects aligned with organizational objectives.
• Apply appropriate analytical and statistical methods to support strategic outcomes.
• Maintain project roadmaps, risk logs, and action trackers to ensure timely execution.

Abuse & Harm Mitigation

• Drive initiatives focused on abuse detection, prevention, and harm reduction.
• Use data-driven insights and policy awareness to anticipate and address emerging threats.
• Triage and resolve escalated issues with urgency and clarity.

Process Optimization & Operational Excellence

• Identify scalable improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to reduce latency and enhance accuracy.
• Implement automation and process enhancements using machine learning and analytics.

Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration

• Build strong partnerships across teams and regions as a trusted advisor.
• Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.

Technical Execution & Innovation

• Extract, model, and visualize data to support enforcement strategies and decision-making.
• Build dashboards, automate data pipelines, and develop predictive models.
• Apply deep product and issue knowledge to guide technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and statistical inference.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
• Strong technical proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms.
• Proven track record of process improvement through automation and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, online policy enforcement, or abuse mitigation.
• Background working with global, cross-functional teams.
