As a DevOps Back-end Engineer, you are responsible for the development of high-quality features. The development, execution and improvement of (automated) tests is also an important part of your work.

You think along in the development process and take applications to a higher level as part of the CI/CD pipeline. You communicate these solutions with the Back-end Engineering Department as part of the standardization in the production process.

In this position, we expect you to:

• independently develop features for Java Cloud (AWS) applications;

• independently implement integrations with SaaS products;

• develop and execute (automated) tests, in particular Contract Testing;

• have good communication skills;

• set priorities in projects with your team and the product owner;

You have a passion for building features and also want to maintain high quality in the field of testing. You are steadfast, structured and methodical work is second nature to you, but you are also able to keep up with new developments. You provide solicited and unsolicited feedback to your colleagues and are able to participate in the development of your colleagues.

• do you have at least a higher professional education work and thinking level;
• do you have at least 5 years of work experience in the role of back-end engineer;
• do you have extensive experience with test automation;
• do you have experience with tools such as Pact, Playwright
• Backender, Testing (70%), Building (30%)
• Someone who works independently, strengthening & driving force

Job Description:

Within the My Environment team, we are looking for a versatile back-end engineer. Integrations are done with SAAS products for My Environment for employers. In addition to building features and configuring AWS microservices, work is also needed for automatic testing of the applications. We are looking at contract testing for test integration. The work is versatile and challenging. We are looking for a driving force in the field of (Java) cloud applications and someone who is skilled in also building (contract) tests.
