Senior Software Engineer (Golang/PHP) | Malmö

At Boozt we are proud to say that we are a tech company at it's core and we are now looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and passionate GoLang developer to be part of our in-house team.

Our Order and Return Management systems are developed in-house using a variety of technologies, PHP and Go being the main two. We practice engineering-driven business development and many important decisions are made by our developers. We do regular system maintenance to refactor and upgrade to the latest versions of components and libraries while doing our best to explore and incorporate new technologies and concepts. Our main focus is to be very close to the business units and users but we try to allow technology to guide us in how we make our choices.

What You Will Do

• Implement new features and functions needed for the company, when appropriate, have them be influenced by the use of AI and/or machine learning.
• Multiple deployments a day due to continuous integration and an agile workflow.
• Automate manual tasks to help the business users do their everyday work.
• Development and maintenance in Go.
• You will interact with product managers and business unit representatives to help determine scopes, plan and specify projects.
• Maintaining and improving system integrations using asynchronous messaging (Google Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ and various APIs).
  
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Broad experience from working with Go. Experience with PHP and Symfony is a plus.
• Experience with having used appropriate forms of AI for workflow improvements as well as incorporating it into projects or products in meaningful ways.
• Experience in working with other business units in order to understand the needs and improve the system.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is desirable.
• Fluent in English since this is our corporate language (only applications in English will be considered)
