  • Clearly outline mechanics, systems, and features to ensure the team is aligned on the creative vision.

Prototyping and Iteration:

  • Lead efforts to prototype and test gameplay mechanics.
  • Encourage team-wide playtesting and provide constructive feedback to drive improvements.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

  • Work with other interns (artists, developers) to integrate design elements into a cohesive project.
  • Adapt to the dynamic challenges of early-stage development with creative problem-solving.

Skill Development and Leadership Growth:

  • Actively seek opportunities to learn about game design and development processes.
  • Build your leadership skills by managing tasks, resolving conflicts, and motivating your team.

What You Will Gain:

  • Real-Life Experience: Be involved in every step of a game’s development from the ground up.
  • Leadership Development: Learn how to lead a team effectively and gain valuable leadership experience.
  • Certificate of Completion: Receive official recognition for your contributions at the end of the internship.
  • Skills Enhancement: Develop practical knowledge of game design, documentation, and prototyping.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with others passionate about game development.

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for video games and a desire to learn about game design.
  • Basic understanding of game design principles and mechanics (formal experience is not required but appreciated).
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take on leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, intern-led environment.

What We Offer:

  • A chance to contribute meaningfully to a game project at its earliest stage.
  • Leadership experience in managing and guiding a team of peers.
  • Flexible working hours to fit around your schedule.
