Embedded Software Developer (Junior)

Location: Remote + a few days per year in Austria (Atzbach, Innsbruck)

Join VM.PL as an Embedded Developer and work on hardware-near software for a real industrial-grade product. The project is run in an agile environment, in a small team, with full technical support and onboarding on-site at the client's location.

Tasks

  • Development of software for embedded systems (C/C++ and Python)
  • Integration and testing in cooperation with external partners
  • Programming of sequence controls
  • Verification and maintenance of software quality

Requirements

  • Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
  • Accuracy, structured approach, independence
  • Practical mindset and collaborative attitude
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Austria
  • German and English – fluent enough for daily communication
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Fieldbus, experience with low-voltage electrical installations
