Job Title: AI Engineer – Financial Market (RAG / LLM Systems)

Location: Remote

Job Description: We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to architect, develop, and deploy a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system for crypto and finance-related user queries. This role involves integrating live data sources, deploying and fine-tuning local Large Language Models (LLMs), and collaborating with developers to integrate AI services into app frontends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy RAG systems for financial market research.
• Integrate live data sources from APIs (Twitter, News, Crypto Market Data).
• Deploy and fine-tune local LLMs (e.g., LLaMA2, Mistral).
• Build or integrate agent frameworks for multi-step reasoning and data gathering.
• Develop custom output formatting pipelines for reports and charts.
• Ensure low-latency, scalable performance for real-time queries.
• Collaborate with mobile/web developers for seamless integration.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI Systems Engineering, or Backend Engineering.
• Strong experience with LLM hosting and deployment (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers).
• Deep understanding of RAG workflows and frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI/Django preferred).
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Chroma).
• Familiarity with AWS environments (EC2, ECS, S3, SageMaker).
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with financial markets and cryptocurrency ecosystems.
• Knowledge of charting libraries (e.g., SciChart, Plotly).
• Experience with lightweight LLM fine-tuning techniques (e.g., LoRA).
• Web scraping and building knowledge graphs.
