Oslo, Norway (Hybrid)

A System Operations Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities: Services provided to internal or external customers, support to the system, and support to IS-IT

• Perform operations, anticipate operational problems and contribute to improve the system operation:
• Guarantee the smooth running of IS-IT and systems observes and studies system functioning, analyses statistics, monitors performance and defines reports
• Offer appropriate support and advice to the users
• Communicate pro-actively with customers as primary interface
• Liaise with SDM in order to consider customer complaints and suggestions or any potential problems that the SDM raises

• Continually improve the system, continually improve the IS-IT, prevent customer issues, and manage corrective actions:
• Collect and report on customer technical issues analyses problems, collect all relevant information and provide answers to customer queries
• Develop and implement resolution plans, take appropriate decisions support, propose optimization of the system configuration, ensure the necessary actions are carried out, and plan and control change
• Manage crisis situation
  
  

Optimize support:

• Liaise with SDM in order to consider customer dissatisfaction factors and the proposed improvement solutions
• Define and/or complete troubleshooting procedures
• Mentor and train support staff
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, and comply with legal regulation
