Network Infrastructure Architect

  • The role of Network Infrastructure Architect plays a crucial role in defining new technologies, monitoring and modeling proofs of concept for internal network infrastructure solutions and telecom networks.
  • Evaluating technical requirements and searching for new technologies in order to solve problems, modeling and documenting high-level solution diagrams, identifying risks and exceptions in the area of infrastructure architecture.
  • Compose the team that will define the technological domains to be adopted in the corporation, act strongly as a consultant architect in projects both for new solutions and for updating existing solutions by fitting them into new concepts.

Expected Skills

  • Develop architectures for internal network and telecommunications solutions in line with the companys strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and wireless networks (Wi-Fi) that support efficient and secure communication.
  • Proven experience in CISCO IP solutions in a service provider environment to perform POC, lab execution, test execution and results analysis activities;a. Knowledge equivalent to CCNP-SP certification (but must have at least CCNA certification);b. Solid knowledge on the subject: Deployment and migration of large Cisco equipment in carrier backbones, including BNG/BRAS; Company, CRS, GSR, ASR9K, ASR1K, 7600 IOS XE and IOS XR equipment
  • Ensuring network quality, integrity and security in all solutions developed.
  • Evaluating and recommending network and telecommunications technologies and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.
  • Keeping up to date with trends and best practices in network architecture and telecommunications.
  • Develop architectures for data and AI solutions in the cloud, aligned with the companys strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proven experience in architecting network and telecommunications solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of network technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Nagios, SolarWinds, between others.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, such as VoIP, MPLS, and 5G1 networks.
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
  • Relevant certifications (such as Cisco Certified Network Professional - CCNP, Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional - JNCIP) are a plus.
  • Easy to work remotely
