Visual Designer

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Visual Designer for a 6 months extendable contract role

to focus on building experiences that increase creators’ presence and provide value to them. J

Overall Responsibilities:

• Create design deliverables including early concept explorations, mocks, and visual assets
• Collaborate with the UX team (Design, Research, Content) and other cross-functional teams (PM, Eng, Marketing)

What Will You need:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or related field (in lieu of degree, 5 years of relevant work experience required)
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability
• Strong, clean visual design sense, and an obsessive attention to detail
• Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem solving
• Experience partnering with designers, user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas in compelling visual narratives
• Proficiency with Figma and other design tools
