We are recruiting for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join a trailblazing global leader in sustainable energy solutions. This is an exciting new position as part of their recent US expansion - the role will help steer US cybersecurity direction and strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management systems.
- Proactively monitor for suspicious activities and analyze logs to detect potential threats.
- Collaborate with Managed Security Service Providers to investigate security incidents.
- Lead regular vulnerability assessments, security scans, and penetration testing efforts.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, implementing containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
- Improve and optimize security procedures across networks, devices, and applications.
- Assist in the development of security policies and standards.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, analyzing system anomalies, network traffic, and user behaviors for early detection of risks.
- Stay updated with emerging threats through continuous monitoring of threat intelligence sources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT security operations, cybersecurity analysis, or a related role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
- Strong experience managing SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management platforms.
- Proven expertise in incident response, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST).
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, and cloud security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying risks.
