Technical Agile Coach

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Location: Manassas, VA 20110

Contract Duration: 12 months

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile/Technical Coach

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach multiple teams in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) focused on technical practices, quality, flow, and predictability.
  • Enhance engineering and DevOps workflows, closing gaps and raising standards.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, PI/BRP planning, retrospectives, demos) effectively across teams .
  • Create and manage coaching agreements/contracts to align on improvement goals
  • Train and mentor developers to become equipped Scrum Masters or technical Agile practitioners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth communication, decision-making, and execution .

Skills & Tools

  • Strong technical acumen—ability to engage in engineering discussions.
  • Proficiency with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Excellent facilitation, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data-driven mindset for measuring value delivery and continuous improvement.
