We are looking for a seasoned IT Change Manager with deep experience in banking and financial services to lead change initiatives that support digital transformation, core banking modernization, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and risk/compliance functions to ensure that IT-driven changes are seamlessly integrated and adopted across the organization.
About the Role
The IT Change Coordinator and Manager will be responsible for leading change initiatives within the IT Infrastructure department on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Arranging and managing Change advisory board (CAB) and Change Control board (CCB).
- Develop and implement change management strategies tailored to IT projects such as core banking upgrades, cloud migration, cybersecurity programs, and digital channel enhancements.
- Identify and manage potential risks and resistance points that could impact successful adoption of changes.
- Lead stakeholder analysis and engagement across business units, operations, IT, compliance, and risk functions.
- Drive effective communication and training plans to support technology rollouts and changes to business processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and solution architects to align change management plans with project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure all changes comply with banking regulations, data privacy standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on change adoption and business readiness.
- Serve as a bridge between IT infrastructure, IT security, Application to promote release and ensure alignment.
- Serve as a bridge between IT and business to promote understanding and ensure alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of change management experience, with at least 3 years in the banking or financial services sector.
- Experience supporting large-scale IT transformations.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory and risk management practices.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is preferred.
