The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Landing Page teams define and build features that optimize the way customers browse our inventory and help them easily find and reach relevant eBay pages when searching on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. With literally hundreds of millions of products listed on eBay globally at any time, the scale at which eBay has to consider search engine optimization puts our team in a unique position to innovate and provide immediate value to the business. This team builds high-quality, scalable and highly-available business solutions that are used by millions of eBay users across the globe every day. We are responsible for driving organic free traffic that represents billions of dollars worth of goods and services bought on eBay.

What Will You Do?

You will be part of the Landing Page Data Operations team, which supports Product and Development to maintain data quality and landing page lifecycle management. As an analyst, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and providing data insights to enhance the quality of the underlying data that defines ebay’s category and product-based landing pages. This role requires a blend of technical skills, data analysis, and business acumen to ensure our landing pages are high-quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze landing page data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Use data to measure the performance of different landing page variations and campaigns.
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Use data to forecast future trends and make data-driven decisions.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• BA or BS in computer science, information science, or related area of study
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Knowledge of web analytics and A/B testing methodologies.
• Ability to communicate data insights and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
