MODE is an international design practice delivering world-class multidisciplinary outcomes locally for our partners throughout Australia and New Zealand, and internationally in the Pacific and South-East Asia. We employ 100+ talented designers who specialise in consultancy services across architecture, master planning, urban design, landscape architecture, interior and graphic design.
As a design practice, one of the key principles we prioritise today is better environments through a unique design process. This enables the design of buildings and spaces (with a focus on integration of internal and external spaces) that are adaptable to inevitable changes, including economic, social, environmental and educative.
THE ROLE
We’re currently looking for a HR Coordinator to join our Brisbane studio and support our team as we continue to grow. If you’re an organised, proactive people-person with a passion for HR and a knack for quality systems, we’d love to hear from you!
As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and maintaining our integrated management system (IMS). This is a diverse role that offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and collaboration.
We’re Looking For Someone With:
- Experience in HR administration and generalist roles
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes
- Relevant HR qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- A proactive attitude with a focus on detail and follow-through
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Coordinate recruitment activities including advertising, interview scheduling, and reference checks
- Draft employment contracts and variations for review
- Support the onboarding and induction process
- Coordinate end-of-probation reviews and staff milestones
- Maintain the leave register and prepare data for fortnightly payroll
- Manage the HR inbox and maintain HR files as required
Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Support IMS and WHS documentation as directed
- Maintain training registers and coordinate ISO:45001 compliance activities
Office Support
- Assist the operations team with answering phones
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming studio culture
