  • Understand client challenges and translate them into data science use cases and solutions.
  • Explore, clean, and analyze large and complex data sets using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Build, test, and deploy predictive models and data products using modern data science tools and frameworks.
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to ensure models are scalable, maintainable, and integrated into production environments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and methodologies in the field of AI and data science.
  • Document methodologies, experiments, and code to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and strong experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Experience working with SQL and data stored in relational databases or data lakes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Fluent in German and English (C1 level or higher).
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at client locations throughout Switzerland.

Key Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a curious and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Focused on value creation and real-world impact.
