My client, a Galway based Medical Device organization, are looking to hire a new Manufacturing Engineer.
This role will suit someone with a degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
This is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City.
Responsibilities
- Improve the performance of the manufacturing process by applying the continuous improvement technique.
- Take part in safety checks and audits.
- Report any accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions.
- Keep equipment clean and safe following GMP
- Work with the engineering team to improve how machines work.
- Plan and carry out regular maintenance to stop machines from breaking down.
- Create a TPM plan to help reduce downtime.
- QA/Regulatory Authority, Environmental Health and Safety, and GMP requirements must all be met by all engineering work and designs.
- Make track of parts used and order more when needed.
- Make sure training is completed by the team.
Requirements
- Honor's degree required in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3+ years experience in Manufacturing Engineering/ Process Development., Med Device is desirable.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing line performance measurement is a must have.
