Job Summary
We’re looking for a versatile and hands-on Team Lead to guide our Software & Electrical Engineering (S&E) team. This role blends technical leadership, multidisciplinary programming, and strategic collaboration with product and management teams.
You’ll be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers, while also actively contributing to programming, electrical design, and embedded systems development. You must feel equally comfortable writing C++ for an embedded device, debugging a PLC setup, supporting project management, or joining a strategic product meeting.
This is a critical role in our organization with a broad scope and a lot of freedom—to think, build, lead, and innovate.
Key Responsibilities
· Team & Technical Leadership:
o Guide and support a cross-functional team of engineers (software, electrical, embedded).
o Coordinate technical priorities, review progress, and ensure high-quality output.
o Act as a sparring partner for product development and strategic discussions.
o Help define long-term goals and translate them into actionable team roadmaps.
· Multidisciplinary programming & automation:
o Develop software using C, C++, Structured Text (ST), Python, JavaScript, and Bash
o Choose the right tool for the job—you’re not bound to one stack or platform.
o Work across industrial automation, backend tools, scripting, embedded systems, and light web-based interfaces.
o Maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on integration and reliability.
· Electrical Engineering:
o Validate electrical schematics and installations for industrial and embedded systems.
o Collaborate closely with integrators and hardware suppliers to ensure safe, standards-compliant implementations.
· Embedded Engineering:
o Contribute to firmware development for embedded platforms.
o Assist in hardware/software integration and rapid prototyping.
· Project Involvement
o Take an active role in defining technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
o Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams.
· Strategic & Management Support
o Contribute to budgeting, resource planning, and business case development.
o Support upper management with technical insights and long-term planning.
o Discuss strategies with customers and suppliers
Who Are You?
· A generalist who thrives in multidisciplinary environments
· Technically strong, but also a great communicator and coordinator
· Comfortable switching between hands-on engineering and strategic conversations
· Curious, pragmatic, and able to work independently when needed
· Fluent in both code and circuit diagrams
Bonus Points for Experience with:
· Codesys structured text
· Git, Docker, Linux
· Kicad, Altium or similar ECAD tools
· Hydrogen applications
Why Join Us?
- Be part of an innovative and dynamic team that is at the forefront of hydrogen technology.
- Opportunity to work on projects that make a positive impact on the environment and the future of energy.
- Professional growth and development opportunities in the R&D field.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- Exposure to international projects and the chance to work with clients and partners across the globe.
