We’re seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Global Product Manager to help shape the future of wound care solutions at a pioneering international healthcare organization. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a key product portfolio while playing a central role in driving the development of a groundbreaking chronic wound care solution.
In this diverse and high-impact role, you’ll take ownership of defined products within the conventional wound care portfolio, overseeing their global life cycle management and providing market support through actionable product insights. This will comprise approximately 40% of your assignment.
Beyond product management, you’ll work closely with the Global Marketing Manager for VLU (Venous Leg Ulcer) solutions to refresh the strategic roadmap, craft internal communication tools, and activate engagement plans across global stakeholder groups — driving alignment and adoption. This strategic marketing and coordination responsibility will account for about 50% of your time.
Additionally, you’ll coordinate the development of a combination-use clinical evidence plan across chronic wound care categories, strengthening their value proposition and enabling evidence-led solution selling (approx. 10% of your focus).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product performance, reporting, and monitoring of key KPIs (Sales, Gross Profit, Pricing).
- Own and maintain Clinical & Marketing Messaging (CMM) files for assigned products.
- Lead product assortment analysis and portfolio optimization initiatives.
- Monitor brand and portfolio commercial performance, identifying and executing improvement actions.
- Support the development and rollout of the VLU solution strategy, roadmap, and internal engagement plans.
- Coordinate clinical evidence planning to support enhanced product claims and solution-selling opportunities.
- Prepare business gate decisions and contribute to product launch readiness.
The role is based in Gothenburg with the possibility to perform part of the job remotely. Non-HQ based employees are expected to travel into HQ on request for mandated office weeks and other joint F2F meetings.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, science, business, or a related field.
- Substantial (+5 years) experience in both marketing and/or sales within the medical device industry, life science or IVD.
- Relevant working knowledge of product development, operational & regulatory processes as related to GPM role.
- Experience from working in an international/global position.
- Fluent in English.
- Meritorious: Experience working in a local market.
Who You Are
You are a performance-driven and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of turning plans into action. Naturally structured and organized, you excel at setting clear priorities and making effective use of available resources to deliver on business objectives.
Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and complexity, you remain composed under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting circumstances. Your excellent presentation and communication skills ensure you convey clear, engaging messages to a variety of audiences.
A strong collaborator, you thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments — motivating, inspiring, and empowering those around you without formal authority. You are skilled in stakeholder management and effortlessly build trust-based relationships, both internally and externally.
Above all, you are customer-centric at heart, always seeking to understand needs, create value, and cultivate lasting partnerships.
