Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is an outstanding example of software craftsmanship,

a person with extremely high business and technical acumen combined with extensive professional agile environment experience. Our project infrastructure is all set in AWS. We work with such services as RDS, EC2, S3, EMR, etc. We expect that candidate will possess strong programming skills (with understanding of OOD) as main work will be focused around creation of fully automated pipelines and infrastructure as a code solution.

Requirements:

A hands-on engineer with deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch, EMR, DynamoDB, ELB, Route 53, EKS, ECS).

Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI.

Fluent in Terraform and Git for infrastructure-as-code and version control.Strong programming background in Python; comfortable with Bash scripting.

Confident administering Linux servers and building containerised workloads with Docker.

Skilled in configuration management using Ansible.

Solid understanding of Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL).

Experience packaging and operating workloads with Helm and orchestrating them on Kubernetes.

Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-oriented team player with strong English communication skills.

B.Sc. degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities:

Develop automation tools & continuous integration systems.

Support and improvement of current infrastructure.

Boost the effectiveness of our team by helping us in optimizing infrastructure. As a result, map quality will increase and lead time for map production will decrease.
