UI/UX designer

The mission of the UI/UX designer at HackMotion is to create a mobile app UI for our wearable sports-tech products. You will make sure that our users can discover and get value out of our product.

You will help to improve the product team’s capacity by taking ownership of your own design projects from defined problem to completed design, ready for development.

You will join our product team and work on the mobile app for HackMotion wearable HW products. You'll collaborate with a skilled UI/UX designer, two product managers, and three top-talent developers. You will help to design user interfaces for HackMotion app, collaborate with team members in gathering user feedback, prototype and UI/UX testing and contribute to the design system maintenance and necessary updates. You will also create visual assets necessary for the app and work directly with the product manager and developer to ensure that designs bring value to our users.

Your success will be defined by your ability to own the design process of features you are working on and your ability to create something that delivers value to our users. 

Your tasks:

• Create app UI (mobile and tablet)
• Collaborate with team members in gathering user feedback, prototype and UI/UX testing
• Contribute to the design system maintenance and necessary updates
• Create visual assets (illustrations, photo and basic animations)
• Work directly with product manager and developers to ensure that designs meet usability standards

What we expect:

• Ability to create app user interfaces from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity design
• Good eye for colour, layout, fonts and usability, basic understanding of design system
• Experience with Figma and Adobe CC suite
• Visual design skills (illustrations, photo and/or basic animations) would be considered a plus
• At least one example project demonstrating great & creative UI design skills
