About the Team
Based out of our Brisbane South Bank office, the Cloud Team is building a next-generation suite of cloud-based products from the ground up. These products power new workflows for remote collaboration, content creation, media management, and device integration—enabling professionals worldwide to work in entirely new ways.
You’ll join a focused team of highly skilled engineers working closely with our product and marketing teams across the full product lifecycle—from prototyping through to release.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop high-quality software in Go (Golang) within a microservice or serverless AWS environment
- Design, implement and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage (unit, integration, API)
- Help shape architecture and contribute to technical direction and decision-making
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers across disciplines
- Write infrastructure-as-code as needed (e.g., using Terraform or CDK)
- Solve challenging technical problems across distributed systems, media workflows, and cloud infrastructure
About You
You’re a hands-on engineer with a strong interest in building robust, scalable systems and a passion for creating technology that’s used in the real world. You’re comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team, and you enjoy solving new problems.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend or cloud engineering
- Solid hands-on experience with Golang (or strong interest and prior experience in C++/Java with willingness to ramp up in Go)
- Experience building microservices or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.)
- Comfortable working with container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience or interest in media/video technologies (e.g., HLS, streaming, encoding) is a bonus
- Strong understanding of software testing practices and automation
- A proactive mindset and desire to work on impactful products at scale
