We’re looking for a backend Software Engineer to participate in our software delivery platform development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

You will join a team of 10 engineers managing the backends for software release and distribution for millions of customers. Your focus will be on developing and operating backends running in AWS. We use Python as our main programming language, and you can expect to work with the following technologies: Serverless, PostgreSQL, AWS CDK, and Jenkins. You'll have an opportunity to participate in designing the next generation release and distribution platform, including integrated software signing.

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, with good communication skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and willingness to share knowledge and insights of the best practices.
  • Experience in backend development, preferably in Python.
  • Experience in cloud computing.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with serverless computing.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases.

Bonus points

  • Experience with modern CI/CD tools: Github Actions, Gitlab CI.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with secure programming practices and threat analysis process.
