About the role

Nordics is our biggest Direct to Merchant (DTM) business and we aim to support the growth of this business through better use of data. You'll dive deep into profitability analysis, pricing models, and data quality assessments - turning raw data into powerful insights that shape the future of merchant acquiring.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, influencing decisions that drive growth and efficiency. This position can be based in Finland or Denmark.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement data solutions
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Perform profitability analysis on merchant, segment, market levels
• Build pricing models
• Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments to ensure accurate reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to create ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
• Provide training and support to end-users
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analytics

Skills and Experience Needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Native or Fluent Finnish or Danish, plus advanced English language
• 6 years experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Financial Analyst or similar role where you have been using data to drive business insights and decision-making
• Must have knowledge of merchant acquiring as you will support our acquiring business across Nordics
• Strong proficiency with data visualization tools, SQL and PowerBI or similar
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and ability to disseminate significant amounts of information
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
