Contract - Fully remote from Ireland

About the Company

A leading international company based in Cork have an immediate requirement for a web developer for a 9 - 12 month contract. This role is based in Cork but can be done from anywhere in Ireland.

The key to this role is at least 3-5 years experience as a full stack developer using React and Python with Node and Typescript.

About the Position

As a full stack web app developer in this program, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and develop custom dashboards, reports, and interactive web applications that will be utilized by our users, developers, and executives to make intelligent business decisions

• Collaborate with team members, leads, and users to identify business needs and come up with innovative solutions to meet these needs

• Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs

The Role

• Leverages advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

• Analyzes user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.

• Designs and implements software modules for large-scale products and systems.

• Participates in and leads design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.

• Performs complex code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.

• Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to ensure solutions work with other components of a specific project.

• Writes detailed technical documentation for complex Software projects.

The Candidate

3+ years of full stack web application development experience with React

Required: React, Typescript, NodeJS, Python

Database: SQL and NoSQL, Websockets, Multithreading, Git, Docker, Linux, charting libraries, REST, FastAPI

Remuneration Package

A good rate is on offer as well as strong chance of extension.
