People Partner (Human Resources Generalist)

A growing company in the manufacturing sector, specialising in injection moulding and medical devices, is seeking a dynamic People Partner (Human Resources Generalist) to join its collaborative HR team. About the Role:
As a People Partner, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of People Strategy & Operations and Senior People Partners to support and guide leaders and employees across a variety of HR functions. You will act as a trusted advisor, coach, and resource, promoting a positive and high-performing work environment. Your role will be integral in fostering employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and helping managers grow successful teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters.
- Foster strong working relationships with managers to support leadership effectiveness and team growth.
- Promote a culture of trust, inclusion, fairness, and high performance across the organisation.
- Support employee training initiatives and coordinate development programs.
- Administer and track attendance, manage leave of absence processes, and oversee hourly employee evaluations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation including job changes, pay increases, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with internal communication, employee questions, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Participate in new employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, tools, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Support company and employee events, meetings, and recognition programs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role with a focus on employee relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a manufacturing enviornment.
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, embrace change, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
