Who We Are Looking For

Converse European Technology Team is seeking a motivated and talented

Software Engineer to support the technical management and

optimization of our dropship accounts (marketplaces) across Europe. The

ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software

development, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace integrations. This

role requires a technical background in backend development, data

processing, and automation, as well as a willingness to learn and grow

within an Agile environment. The role is based at Converse/Nike

European Headquarters in Hilversum, operating in a hybrid work model

with a minimum of three days in the office.

What You’ll Work On

  • Assist in the design, development, and optimization of software

systems managing multiple dropship accounts across Europe.

  • Support the integration of third-party marketplaces (e.g., ASOS,

Zalando) with Converse’s internal systems.

  • Help automate workflows for order processing, inventory

management, and data feeds (e.g., CSV via SFTP).

  • Monitor system performance and assist in enhancing scalability

and availability.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including middleware providers,

fulfillment partners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Participate in technical initiatives and contribute to process

automation through PIM integration.

  • Ensure security and compliance with European e-commerce

regulations, GDPR, and industry standards.

Who You’ll Work With

You will collaborate with a variety of teams across Converse and Nike,

including product managers, operations, customer support, middleware

providers, and fulfillment partners. You will also work closely with

engineering teams to optimize system performance and ensure seamless

integration across all platforms.

What You Bring

  • 1-2 years of software engineering experience, preferably in e-

commerce.

  • Basic understanding of marketplace integrations and middleware

solutions.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, CSV data processing, SFTP, and PIM

systems.

  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, or C#)

and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and database technologies

(SQL/NoSQL).

  • Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to

work in an Agile environment.
