At Mainblades, we’re changing the way airplanes are inspected. Our autonomous drone system captures high-resolution images and uses machine learning to spot defects and it’s already running in production with major airlines worldwide.

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who knows what it takes to build and manage production environments where uptime isn’t negotiable. Someone who’s confident making decisions and understands how to scale infrastructure as things grow faster and more complex.

You’ll join a small, skilled team that’s built the system from the ground up and is ready to push it to the next level. Your work here will have immediate, visible impact.

What you’ll do

• Scale and maintain our infrastructure on Google Cloud, keeping it secure, cost-effective, and reliable.
• Work with Terraform and Crossplane to manage infrastructure the right way: versioned, repeatable, clear.
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD , fast, safe deployments without surprises.
• Keep an eye on everything with proper monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Implement and maintain security measures that hold up: ISO27001-level, not just checkboxes.
• Support our development teams with tooling, automation, and the kind of setup that helps them ship better code, faster.
• Own disaster recovery and backup strategies: tested, documented, and ready when needed.

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years in a DevOps or infrastructure role, working with real systems, in production.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (ideally GCP).
• You know how to harden systems: access control, network policies, security scanning — you’ve done it before.
• You automate what’s repetitive. Bash or Python is enough, as long as you’re comfortable scripting what matters.
• You’ve worked with monitoring tools and know the difference between useful alerts and noise.
• Bonus if you’ve dealt with ISO27001 or similar, or just have the mindset to build for security and compliance.
