ICT Operational & Network Engineer

With your technical know-how and experience in the network field, you will solve complex technical challenges in the areas of Network & Data. You will work closely with experts and customers, use modern technologies, and be actively involved in DevOps organizations. As the key contact for critical connectivity services, you will take responsibility and contribute significantly to the quality and security of the network architecture.

Your Tasks

  • Solving complex network problems in collaboration with experts and partners
  • Designing and optimizing network infrastructures in the areas of L2/L3, SD-WAN, and SDN
  • Being the central contact for critical connectivity services, with responsibility for their availability and performance
  • Close collaboration with customers and partners for continuous service improvement
  • Working in an agile environment with the latest technologies, alongside an experienced and dynamic team
  • Participating in regular on-call shifts in a 7x24 mode to ensure service availability


Your Skills

  • Completed degree (FH, HF, University) in IT or extensive experience in the network field
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies (L2/L3, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, SDN, SD-WAN)
  • Experience with Cisco technologies, especially routers (certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are an advantage)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with complex network issues
  • Good scripting skills for network automation
  • Experience with Linux and standard commands
  • Very good English language skills, both spoken and written, with German or French at a native speaker level
  • Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to drive innovations and improvements in the network area
