iOS Engineer - Fintech

We are seeking a iOS Consultant to provide expert guidance and support in iOS development projects. As a Senior iOS Consultant, you will leverage your deep expertise in iOS development to architect, design, and implement solutions that drive business value and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Duration: 31 dec 2025

Location: Stockholm - 3 days in the office

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive code audits and analysis to identify areas of inefficiency, architectural and code weaknesses, contributing to the sustenance burden and technical debt.
  • Hands on bug-fixing, prioritising high-impact issues, and establishing sustainable processes for ongoing bug triage and resolution
  • Implement robust testing strategies, including automated testing frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and regression testing suites, to prevent regression issues and reduce bug recurrence.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to advocate for investment in technical debt reduction initiatives and communicate the business value of addressing sustainability concerns.
  • Measure the effectiveness of bug reduction and technical debt reduction efforts, track progress over time, and demonstrate tangible improvements in application stability and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong command of Swift and Objective-C.
  • Familiar with iOS SDK and various frameworks like UIKit (CoreData, CoreGraphics are plus) and understand how to leverage them effectively to build robust iOS applications.
  • Proficiency with modern concurrency paradigms like Combine and Structured Concurrency
  • Understanding of common architectural patterns such as MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel)
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git
  • Experience in working with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and data serialisation formats like Protobuf
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and fix bugs, memory leaks, and other issues
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or Fastlane to streamline the build, test, and deployment process.
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on code quality, and experience with unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing
