Engineering Environment (EE) defines and governs Network Management Engineering (NME) Development Tools, Infrastructure & Test Environment Services. We are focused on ensuring our Engineering Unit has the best possible Development and Test capabilities at optimum cost.

Within the EE SW Tools section we invite you to join us in the role of Developer. This integral position offers the chance to engage directly in the development and maintenance of our robust portfolio of products and services. Working in alignment with Ericsson’s Product Development Principles, you will contribute to our thriving culture of innovation and constant improvement.

What you will do:

• Design and develop CI infrastructure tools to enhance automation and improve development workflows.
• Write clean, scalable, testable and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product owners and other developers to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing tools, ensuring their scalability, performance, and reliability.
  
  

The skills you bring:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django for backend development.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with CI tools (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Jenkins)
• Proficiency in API, performance, and unit testing using relevant tools and frameworks (Nose, Pytest, Unittest).
• Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git/Gerrit) and agile workflows.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL)
• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and excellent analytical skills.
