Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst / Project Manager to manage IT projects for credit approval /loan origination applications in a reputed bank. This role include project management, requirements analysis, functional design and testing.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or related field;
• Must have 10+ years of IT business analyst experience and 2+ years of project management experience, in a hybrid methodology setup;
• Must have experience working with Credit risk, credit approval or loan origination applications with understanding on credit workflow;
• Experience in banking Domain;
• Must have experience in skills such as SQL, MSP, Jira, SharePoint and Confluence;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Hands-on experience in API testing;
• Knowledge of all phases of IT software development and implementation life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver medium-sized projects using a hybrid approach (Waterfall and Agile);
• Track project progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure timely delivery;
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams;
• Prepare and present KPIs and project reports to management and key stakeholders;
• Maintain and update comprehensive functional documentation for all supported applications;
• Collaborate with users and Product Owners to gather, review, and clarify business needs;
• Ensure requirements are well-defined, documented, and communicated to the delivery team;
• Analyze, challenge, and translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements;
• Work closely with development teams to design solutions aligned with business goals and technical constraints;
• Contribute to the creation of user stories and related documentation;
• Prepare test data and execute tests to validate developments against business requirements;
• Support end-to-end (E2E) and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
