About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Junior Data Engineers through our campus hiring program. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to work with large datasets, learn from experienced data professionals, and contribute to building data-driven solutions for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources
- Support data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and software engineers to deliver high-quality data products
- Perform basic data cleaning, transformation, and quality checks
- Monitor and troubleshoot existing data workflows and resolve issues
- Document data flows, processes, and solutions for internal use
- Continuously learn and apply new tools and technologies in the data engineering space
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Final-year students may apply)
- Strong foundation in SQL and Python
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic software development practices
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, or Kafka
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and data security practices
- Internship or academic projects related to data engineering, analytics, or cloud computing
