About the client
We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with Argus (Oracle-based) database experience for our client, a company developing a document management system for pharmaceutical businesses, to help them maintain and modernize their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an existing Argus (Oracle) database with dashboards and legacy features.
- Upgrade the Argus system or rebuild it from scratch if needed.
- Automate deployment and management tasks using scripting and modern DevOps tools.
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g., with Terraform and Ansible).
- Set up and maintain Oracle databases or clusters where needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Argus database (Oracle-based), or at minimum, strong experience with Oracle databases, especially in setup, deployment, and version upgrades
- Solid system administration background
- Hands-on experience with automation scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- English — Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
As a plus
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and general DevOps automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus, but this is not a cloud-focused role.
