Product Manager (Credit Cards)


Location: Remote with travel to Chester as required

Rate: Up to £600 per day Inside IR35

Duration: 6 Months


We’re hiring a Credit Card Product Manager to join a dynamic team focused on delivering innovative, customer-centric credit card propositions that drive commercial performance and disrupt the market. This is a strategic role for someone passionate about shaping products that balance commercial growth with exceptional customer outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Customer Experience: Design and deliver product features that are intuitive, valuable, and drive long-term customer loyalty.
  • Drive Product Innovation: Lead the development of new credit card propositions, ensuring they remain market-leading, customer-focused, and commercially successful.
  • Commercial Project Leadership: Act as the commercial lead across major initiatives, aligning projects with strategic goals and ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Disrupt the Market: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to innovate and set new benchmarks in the credit card space.
  • Grow Acquisition Channels: Optimise and expand acquisition efforts across new and emerging channels, improving reach and conversion rates.
  • Manage Cobrand Partnerships: Oversee relationships with key cobrand partners, driving strategic alignment and maximising mutual value.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, commercial, operations, and external partners to deliver and evolve compelling product strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance & Fair Value: Embed Consumer Duty principles throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring fair value, customer protection, and robust outcome monitoring.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with credit card products or within financial services, especially in product or commercial strategy.
  • A track record of designing and launching successful credit card propositions that improve customer outcomes and drive business growth.
  • Experience managing external partnerships, ideally cobrand relationships, to strengthen commercial and strategic value.
  • Strong ability to contribute to and lead cross-functional initiatives, working across teams to execute product strategies.


Bonus Points (Not Essential):

  • Familiarity with P&L ownership and financial metrics to support sound commercial decisions.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic alignment at an executive level.
