Full Stack Engineer

Laine Neural Network SA is a LegalTech company developing an international terminal that automates legal drafting through generative AI and machine learning to connect end-users with licensed lawyers.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in modern web development and best practices to join our growing team in Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of the transition from third-party full-stack development to an internal engineering team.
• Implement and foster a cohesive work culture among internal stakeholders.
• Establish best practices and development methodologies to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
• Design and implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React or Next JS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation features using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand application functionality.
• Collaborate and implement scalable frontend and backend solutions.
• Hands-on in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Communicate clearly with the business side and founders

Essential Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 12 years of experience in Software Engineering

· Strong proficiency in Next JS, ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+ JavaScript, Python.

· Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.)

· Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

· Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.

· Knowledge of WebSocket

· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Experience with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Proficient in the Git version control system

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.

· Fluency in English

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (optional) Qualifications:

· Experience in AI-powered or LegalTech companies

· Experience using Flask

· French or Tagalog fluency is preferred
