About the Company

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 civil contractor, originally founded in NSW and now operating across Victoria, currently turning over approx. $140M annually. With a strong track record delivering complex infrastructure projects between $1M and $50M, they specialise in the water, utilities, rail, and road sectors.

With a surging pipeline of Sydney Water work and a move into brand-new Western Sydney offices, they’re looking to appoint a capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of major water infrastructure packages across Sydney.

About the Role – Project Manager (Water Infrastructure)

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of Sydney Water–aligned infrastructure projects, typically ranging in value from $5M to $20M.

You’ll manage multiple packages or projects depending on size and complexity, supported by a skilled Contract Administrator and dedicated Site Supervisors. This role will suit a hands-on leader who understands the challenges and technical requirements of working under Sydney Water specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery: planning, construction, stakeholder engagement, and handover
• Ensure compliance with Sydney Water design and delivery guidelines
• Lead and mentor the delivery team across multiple concurrent projects
• Foster strong working relationships with Sydney Water and associated stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering water or civil infrastructure projects ($5M–$20M range)
• Experience working to Sydney Water D&C contract requirements is highly desirable
• Background in civil contracting across water, utilities, or pipelines
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
