Twoday
Finland · Contract · Entry

As our People Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimising and executing People & Culture processes across twoday’s global footprint. You’ll be part of a distributed People Operations team led by our Head of People Operations in Denmark and collaborate closely with local People & Culture Business Partners to deliver seamless employee experiences.

You would be preferably situated in Helsinki but you can also be in one of our other Finnish locations like Tampere, Turku, Lappeenranta, Oulu or Jyväskylä. Note that the job does require being in Helsinki or other global twoday office cities from time to time.

What you'll do:

Policy Implementation & Compliance

Translate People & Culture policies into action and ensure we comply with Finnish and international employment regulations.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

Provide accurate payroll input, manage benefits enrolment and answer compensation-related queries.

Employee Lifecycle Management

Own the end-to-end journey—from drafting contracts to onboarding, offboarding and everything in between.

HR Metrics & Reporting

Collect and analyse data on turnover, time-to-hire, engagement and more; surface insights that guide our leadership team.

Documentation & Record-Keeping

Maintain meticulous employee files, contracts, performance appraisals and other critical records.

General P&C Support

Be a go-to partner for employees and managers, answering P&C-related queries, guiding them through processes, and ensuring a consistent employee experience.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

Support process simplification and harmonisation efforts across P&C. Work with colleagues across countries and functions to improve the way we operate.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Fluency in Finnish and English—both are essential for working in our environment.
  • Strong experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a global or multi-country context.
  • Solid understanding of Finnish employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with the ICT senior salaried employee's collective agreement or IT Service Sector collective agreement is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/HCM systems.
  • Analytical mindset—you turn raw HR data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and detail-driven, with a passion for employee experience.

What we offer:
