In this position, you will be reporting to FACTS Power Electronics Engineering Leader, as well indirectly to Project Managers & Project Engineering Managers during project execution phase.

Job Description

In this position, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in people and engineering management, working on our Grid Integration Product Portfolio of High Power Reactive Power Compensators.

Your main task is people and team leadership, and together with your team you will be accountable for successful SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity delivery according to customer specifications. You get to see the engineering work put into action, first in project specification and design, then testing in laboratory and finally in the commissioning of the compensator at the actual site. Team will also take part in new Tender evaluations and supporting R&D and Continuous Improvement topics.

Key Individual Accountabilities

• Resource planning to ensure project delivery on time and within budget
• Participate to technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholders
• Plan, organize and follow SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity project delivery activities
• Support technical Tendering and R&D in the field of FACTS SCADA/HMI/Cyber Security design
• Develop team and coach team members to reach the targets
• Advocate and mentor for first time right culture
• Seek and deploy Continuous Improvement and Process improvement opportunities
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• BSc/MSc degree in Information Technology/ Electrical Engineering
• Strategic view to anticipate and implement coming needs·
• Fluent written and oral skills in English - Finnish language skill a benefit
• Strong prioritizing and time management skills
• Good negotiation skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders
  
  

Desired Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Knowledge of design, configuring and development of HMI & SCADA applications.
• Knowledge in cyber security and related standards (eg. NERC CIP, IEC 62351, IEEE PES Substation C10 /PSRC H13, IEEE 1686, NIST Smart Grid)
• Understanding on patch management, hardening, remote access, malware protection, authentication management and information protection
• Knowledge in substation communication protocols (eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104
• Knowledge in Ethernet network configurations
• Curious and open-minded·
• Desire to work in international environment
