System Engineer Kubernetes & Linux Server

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate and continuously enhance our central Kubernetes environment to ensure a reliable, stable, and high-performing platform
• Deploy, manage and operate RedHat Linux-based server systems
• Optimize our mission-critical Linux platform to support the SAP landscape
• Improve automation processes to increase the efficiency of our Kubernetes and Linux platform
• Coordinate requests and support our customers in the implementation of projects
• Handle complex service requests from internal customers and resolve advanced incidents
• Join our 24/7 on-call team to ensure global availability of business-critical systems
• Actively contribute to an agile working environment

Come prepared

We expect you have:

• Successful completed studies in the field of (business) informatics or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes & Linux platform operation, with a preference for RedHat Linux
• Strong expertise in automation using scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python
• Good Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Proactive with a keen attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive with minimal supervision
• Open to work in a virtual global team

• Attractive salary package: base salary at 2500 – 4000 EUR/month (gross, based on the qualifications and experience), along with an attractive bonus system comprising yearly bonuses and a 13th salary
