Senior Project Manager – PV & BESS (Hybrid | Frankfurt or Heidelberg)

Full-time | €90,000 + 20% bonus | Hybrid (Germany)

A leading energy solutions provider in Germany is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale solar and battery storage projects from early development through to construction and handover. You'll take ownership of full-lifecycle delivery — from site development and permitting to contractor coordination and commissioning — helping shape Germany’s transition to clean energy.

This is a senior role with clear growth potential: you’ll have a path toward area or group management as the project portfolio continues to scale.

What you’ll do:

• Lead large PV and BESS infrastructure projects from start to finish, including permitting, scheduling, and construction
• Coordinate with internal project teams and external stakeholders, including network operators, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities
• Take ownership of budgets, timelines, documentation, and resource planning
• Optimise workflows and help shape internal project processes as the business grows
• Represent the business to clients, property owners, and public bodies
• Step into team leadership or regional responsibility as you grow

What we’re looking for:

• Several years’ project management experience, ideally with PV, battery storage or other energy infrastructure projects
• Background in civil/electrical engineering, spatial planning, or technical real estate
• Familiarity with permitting, planning law, or construction processes
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Digital fluency, you’re comfortable working with project tools and agile teams
• Fluent German; confident English is a plus
• Based in Germany with a driving licence and willing to travel
