Description

As Project Manager for Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Operations in Luxembourg, you will play a key role in supporting senior management in the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic and operational projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing transformation initiatives, implementing new systems and tools, and driving change management across teams with a practical approach to stakeholder communication and adoption strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery
  • Plan, structure, and manage cross-functional transformation projects (e.g., system implementation, process redesign, tool adoption)
  • Drive the implementation of new operational tools and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Coordinate end-to-end project lifecycles including scope definition, timelines, risk analysis, resource planning, and reporting.

Change Management & Strategy
  • Lead change management efforts to support successful adoption of new systems, tools, or processes.
  • Act as a bridge between operational teams, IT, and senior leadership to align change initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Design and execute communication and training plans to facilitate user onboarding and adoption.

Regulatory & Compliance
  • Ensure that project deliverables are aligned with CSSF requirements, including AML/KYC policies and ICT compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to interpret and embed regulatory changes into project designs.
  • Assist in preparing and managing RFPs for technology or service providers, ensuring compliance and value alignment.

Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project goals, and manage expectations.
  • Report progress to project sponsors and escalate risks/issues in a timely and constructive manner.

Technical Knowledge / Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the Luxembourg financial industry
  • Proven track record of leading transformation or change projects, ideally involving new system rollouts or regulatory implementations with strong ability to develop and oversee work plans;
  • Working knowledge of CSSF frameworks, particularly in relation to AML/KYC and ICT/cybersecurity regulations
  • Experience preparing or managing RFPs for system/tool selection is an advantage
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • French, German, or another EU language is an asset but not required
