We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience building native Android apps using modern frontend framework. We’re specifically looking for candidates in Portugal for this position.

About The Job

We are currently looking for someone with deep Android Exoplayer expertise to help out at one of our US based clients. You will be working on the playback team and tackling defects and features related to playback on the client apps. This position would be for around 2-3 months.

Requirements

This role requires extensive expertise with Exoplayer and extensive Android experience (8+ years). If you have just occasionally used it to play a video in a simple app, you don’t have the experience we are looking for.

Ideally you have experience with the at least a couple of the following topics:

• experience working with different content types (AOD, VOD, HLS livestreaming)
• implementing custom data sources in Exoplayer
• integrating DRM requirements
• cross fading multiple audio tracks
• working with Ads in Exoplayer
