We are seeking a highly skilled, Senior ICT Engineer to lead our newly established ICT offering at IES Consulting. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in the design and implementation of core ICT infrastructure - including structured cabling systems, AV systems, data centres and telecoms spaces, wireless networks, BAS and more.
• Experience with building relationships with clients and selling ICT services to them

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the design consultation and technical solutions team for ICT at IES, working alongside our security team to run projects with the most prestigious companies in the Gulf.

· Manage the sales process for ICT services at IES (with support from pre-sales team) to build a pipeline of projects for IES to deliver

· Develop system designs, technical drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and proposals that align with customer needs and industry best practices.

· Engage with clients, project managers, and design teams to design solutions that meet technical specifications, business needs, and future scalability.

· Oversee the integration of new technologies to improve operational efficiency.

· Conduct site surveys, analyse customer requirements, and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design engineering team.

· Ensure all design solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

· Support project teams during the implementation phase to ensure the successful execution of designs.

· Prepare technical submittals and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure necessary approvals are obtained.

· Coordinate with design engineering team to ensure that drawings are submitted on time and accurately reflect the proposed design.

Requirements

· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ICT engineering, ICT design and solutions engineering

 ·  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Valid BISCI RCDD qualification (not required, but advantageous)

· Industry certifications such as CCDA, CCDP, CCNP, PMP, or other relevant design-focused certifications are essential.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and leadership skills.

· Deep knowledge of ICT infrastructure design, fibre optic networks, and system interconnectivity solutions.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively within a team.

· Have a good understanding of the local ICT market, industry trends, and local authority requirement.

· SIRA licence (not required, but advantageous)

· Valid UAE driving license (must have).
