UI/UX Designer (225-620)

Job Description

A UI/UX Designer is tasked with creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for digital products, ensuring they not only look engaging but also offer seamless functionality. As a critical member of the design team, the UI/UX Designer collaborates with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to craft intuitive, accessible, and effective user experiences for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for improving user journeys and a keen eye for aesthetics. By conducting research and feedback analysis, the UI/UX Designer continually refines designs to enhance overall usability and satisfaction. A strong portfolio that demonstrates the ability to translate requirements into engaging, user-centered design is essential, as is staying informed about the latest industry standards and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to convey design ideas effectively.
• Create visually engaging interfaces that align with brand guidelines and user needs.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user requirements and project goals.
• Conduct user research to gather insights and inform the design process.
• Translate complex concepts into user-friendly designs that enhance usability.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design consistency during implementation.
• Iterate designs based on feedback to meet both user and business needs.
• Apply best practices for accessibility, ensuring all users can navigate the interface.
• Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders for approval and insights.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX design trends and industry standards.
• Evaluate current UI/UX design processes and offer suggestions for improvements.
• Perform usability testing to identify and refine areas for enhancement.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and environments.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and aesthetics.
• Effective communication skills for articulating design concepts and decisions.
