To deliver this broad suite of services and products, we rely on a dedicated team of engineers. Our platform team is expanding, and we’re looking to welcome a new Data Engineer to collaborate with data scientists and existing team members.

Data Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to help build data products using a combination of our core data platform, Snowflake, and machine learning components. These data products are fundamental to our mission: they power applications that help farmers operate more efficiently and support sustainability initiatives across the dairy and meat value chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems—whether it’s transforming raw data into actionable insights, reviewing dbt models over coffee with teammates, or exploring new use cases with domain experts.

As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Building data pipelines and transformations to create robust, high-value data products
• Integrating data from diverse sources such as IoT devices, external systems, and cloud services
• Maintaining data quality through automated testing, validation, and monitoring
• Developing and deploying SQL and dbt packages as part of a modern data stack
• Collaborating with R&D, product, and application development teams to meet their data needs
• Documenting and managing data contracts in close cooperation with domain experts

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 4–5 years of experience working on production-grade data platforms
• Hands-on experience with dbt
• Proficiency with Snowflake or similar modern data warehouses
• Strong understanding of data platform architecture
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, MLflow, or similar is a plus
• Technical skills in SQL, Python, Docker, Git, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English
